I LOVE RICH and MARAZENE Team Up For Alc O Holiday 2004

Utilizing two different genres of the rock music spectrum, Alex Zander has again combined a couple of complete opposite styles to make his 12th annual Alc O Holiday show on Dec 12, a sampler platter of a rock n roll holdiay spectacle.

I LOVE RICH will be premiering totally new songs from their forthcoming album THE YEAR OF THE RICH on Sonic Wave International and will be available worldwide next month. The cover and interior shots were done by KARLTON and features the band as well as MK viXXXens Diva Deb and Jenni, the new album was recorded and produced by Andy Gerber (Cheap Trick, Local H)

MARAZENE are making their first ever Alc O Holiday appearance which follows up their recent successful shows at Metro, Double Door and The Bottom Lounge, and are at the top of their game having honed and refined their stage presence and unique sound. 2 years ago MARAZENE drummer Kristov performed as a member of headliners BILE at Alc O Holiday 2002 when it was held at The Cubby Bear.

Super Sexy MY LIFE WITH THE THRILL KILL KULT vocalist and Bomb Gang Girl Sinderella Pussie will be pouring drinks (specials include $4 Makers Mark mixes and $2 select beer ) behind the bar and MK founder/Alc O Holiday Host Alex Zander will be behind the turn tables all night to enhance the mood with a blend of hard rock and Industrial classics, as well as never before heard surprises. This will mark Zander's return to DJing his event for the first time since 1994.

And if the talent alone isn't enough, expect the annual visit from Satan Claus at midnight to spread holiday cheer and prizes to all of the bad little boys and girls as he does every year.

Alc O Holiday 2004 will be held at Dark Room 2210 W Chicago Ave, Chicago, IL. Doors open at 8PM and cover is only $7.

Darkroom began in 2001 with the idea that there is more to a bar than drinks. Combining two of the owners passions, photography and mixology darkroom keeps focus on maintaining a unique environment to showcase local photographers. The space is designed around the bar which also functions as a photographers lightbox keeping true to the nature of the concept. Photo exhibits are centered on one artist allowing for a true gallery experience in the confines of a superb lounge atmosphere.
