Brokken
Dear friends,
I want to tell you a little story about a close personal friend of mine - Brock. About ten years ago, I was way into that whole thrill-chasing robbery scene down in Louisiana. Brock and I were roommates in Baton Rouge at the time. He was heavy into mushrooms and huffing spray cleanser, his 'vision quest' period. Brock didn't really approve of my dangerous hobby, but he agreed to drive me to the convenience store one night if I promised not to hurt anyone. Well, one of the customers got brave and went for a pocket knife. I really don't want to get into it, but I ran outside after I torched the place and Brock was waiting in the car just cussing up a storm. I could tell he was really angry this time. He made me drive and I spooked because he just kept yelling at me. I took a turn too fast and we flipped. A few times. And burst into flames. I was knocked out, but Brock was fine. Thing is, he could have left me there, you know? I deserved it, but he dragged me away from the fiery wreck. He saved my life. That's Brock. Happy birthday, buddy.
Join us for a celebration of that great Rock and Roll swindler - Brokken - on Thursday January 20th at Dark Room. Join Brock, Tobias and very special guests, Aaron Miller and Dave Golitko of Assassins in wishing Brock a very happy thirty-seventh birthday. There will be spankings.
There is NO COVER.
Brokken runs from 9pm -2am and underwear is entirely optional.
