NYE 06: New Year's Fireworks at Buckingham Fountain
The skies of Chicago light up as the city celebrates New Year's Eve with a spectacular fireworks display at Grant Park's Buckingham Fountain. At 11:40pm, a pyrotechnic show leads up to the unique fountain countdown to the new year. At midnight, fireworks explode in color above Monroe Harbor. The fireworks sync with Navy Pier's New Year's fireworks to set the whole Chicago sky ablaze.
