Flaming Lips Fearless Freaks DVD screening
A sort-of accidental documentarian, Fearless Freaks director Bradley Beesley was a neighbor of Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne in Norman, Oklahoma. Beginning 15 years ago, Beesley started filming the band, eventually accruing 400 hours of footage - home movies, interviews, live performances, music videos, and studio footage. Fearless Freaks is the result of a Beesley's and the band's long journey - and lots of editing.

Morrissey CD and DVD release party
Come out to Delilah's on April 3 to celebrate the dual release of Morrissey's live CD and DVD. Filmed shortly after the 2004 release of You Are The Quarry at his legendary show in Manchester, the Who Put The "M" In Manchester DVD showcases not only the album, but both Morrissey and Smiths classics. The CD, Live At Earls Court, captures the end of the tour and was recorded over the final 5 sold out dates in London, Glasgow, Birmingham, Brighton and Dublin this past December.
While there don't forget to sign up for a chance to win great prizes and Onion swag. The DVD and CD will be on sale courtesy of our friends at Tower Records.

Barley Wine Fest 2005
On February 19, Delilah's hosts its seventh annual barley wine and strong beer festival. More than 60 beers from over 40 breweries will be tasted side by side for the first time ever in Chicago, many in multiple vintages. Beers included will be Bell's, J.W. Lees Harvest Ale, Trois Pistoles, Two Brothers, and more. Plus, many regional brewers will be in attendance.
Admission is $20 for a sampling of the offerings.
